My name is Andrew Urrutia and I am an artist and muralist from Seattle, Washington.

Although I paint murals and basketball courts, I'm widely known for my custom-painted footwear, popular among professional athletes.

My journey started at age 16, painting custom footwear for myself and a few friends. Since then, I’ve worked with over 200 professional athletes and celebrities; from Super Bowl Champions to Grammy nominees, my work has been featured on the biggest stage.​

I study the art of business rather than the business of art. Growing up, I sold everything from pencils to bumper stickers, t-shirts and more. My construction background as a project engineer strengthens my ability to plan, schedule, and execute.

In 2017, I noticed an emerging market opportunity: custom-painted footwear in professional sports. ​Custom cleats, or "wearable art", provide a launchpad for modern style you see today in sports and beyond. 

​

Footwear color restrictions are now lifted in virtually every pro sports league. I'm proud to have played a role in this movement.
